Welcome Message

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our school website. I hope you find it an accurate and informative presentation that will help you get to know our school. For almost twenty years, I have had the privilege of leading the team at Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh, Cailíní, a team that comprises of dedicated, focused and enthusiastic team players with a deep passion for teaching and learning.

I am hugely impressed by the commitment of the staff to the provision of an excellent all-round education for our students. Under my leadership, and as a team working together, we strongly promote academic achievement among our students. We are fortunate to work with a group of parents who prioritise education and want the very best for their children. As well as the academic success experienced in Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh, Cailíní, the cultural, sporting and other successes of all of our students and staff are also proudly celebrated together.

Scoil an Spioraid Naoimh, Cailíní, is an innovative school, drawing on the talents and skills of our school community to provide a host of educational programmes and projects. Positioned so close to University College Cork, Cork Institute of Technology and Cork University Hospital allows us to draw on the expertise of academics working in our area. These institutions are more than generous in sharing their sports facilities and on campus facilities with us. Wholesome participation is encouraged in the extensive range of extra-curricular activities on offer in our school and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every pupil in the school.

With, in excess of fifty years of achievement in education behind us, our school community continues to move forward together with confidence, pride and enthusiasm. If you are a parent hoping that your daughter will have an opportunity to join us, you are most welcome to visit and to experience at first hand our busy and interesting school. Please contact our secretary, Anne (021 4543305) to arrange an appointment.

Mrs. Clare O Sullivan.
